Absolutely amazing every time. We tried a seasonal watermelon crudo with a spicy aioli and it was to die for! The radiatore with whipped ricotta is everything I could hope for in a pasta dish.

I recently visited this restaurant for brunch with a party of seven, and we had a fantastic experience. Although there was initially a 35-minute wait, we were pleasantly surprised to be seated outside after just 15 minutes. While I would have preferred indoor seating, the outdoor ambiance was still enjoyable. For appetizers, I had the sweet roll, which was absolutely delicious. My partner and I shared a pizza, and both dishes were superb. I also tried the non-alcoholic Annabelle drink, which was refreshing and delightful. One suggestion would be to include calorie counts on the menu for those who are interested. The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly our server. Although I didn't catch her name, she was incredible--attentive, energetic, and knowledgeable about the specials. Her excellent service truly enhanced our experience. I would definitely return if I'm ever in South Carolina again!

Sunday brunch with girlfriends was absolutely outstanding- we practically licked our plates clean. Our server was attentive and friendly - the menu had plenty of brunch staples and fun lunch items too. The food was perfectly cooked, portions just right and flavors amazing. The first I did after leaving was make another brunch reservation for a months time.

Our favorite meal in Charleston. When I say everything we ordered was delicious, I'm not kidding, and we ordered a lot. Their bread starter was mostly for our young kids but holy cow was it good. The peel and eat shrimp were the best in Charleston and I tried quite a few at other restaurants. The perfect balance of crisp, not mushy or rubbery and perfectly seasoned. Their pizza was absolutely perfect too. Great sauce, perfect crust. Just delicious. We had a breakfast sausage and grits and the sausage had a unique blend of seasonings and paired perfectly with the grits. Overall, our favorite restaurant in Charleston.

I was very excited to dine at The Obstinate Daughter after reading the reviews. I woke up at midnight just to book a reservation because reservations only open up two weeks out and getting a table for five is more difficult. I booked the reservation around 6pm on a Saturday night in June and it was very busy inside. We had to actually wait longer than our reservation time to get seated. The service was great and on par. For the core was quite rustic with a modern flair, and was pleasant to look at. We ordered the Old Danger and Porky Peach pizzas and the short rib Ricotta Gnocchi. These are all extremely delicious. The short rib gnocchi Ragu sauce was exceptional. It must be the best Ragu I've ever had and it had a big chunks of shredded short rib. Our meals came out about 10 to 15 minutes after we ordered. They must have pizzas just popping out of the oven due to the popularity and that's possibly why they were brought to our table so quickly. Our family was out of there within 45 minutes of being seated. Overall, I recommend this restaurant for repeaters and atmosphere.

The pizza was good but the farro with chicken appetizer?! Stole the show. Typically I wouldn't try something too different but I'm so glad I did. The truffle flavor, the Brussel sprouts, the chicken slices -- this is a perfect dish. If you're debating getting the violet cream soda mocktail, this is your sign to absolutely get it. Not to mention the service was top tier as well.

So worth the hype. Food was incredible. Recommendations were spot on. Loved the Steamboat Oysters, along with the grouper and peach pizza. Ambiance was pleasant and quiet enough to hear my date. Book your reservations in advance as they are booked out for days. It's located on the second floor, so may be challenging to find at first. Good news - ice cream is on the floor below and well worth the stop.

If I could give this place a 10 stars I would! I have seen the videos online of influencers coming here and posting about it so I was skeptical as to the hype, but I brought my mom here while she was in town and man did it live up to it! Our bartender, Nick, was very friendly and helped me with a ton of recommendations to walk us through the menu. We ended up settling on Farro with Chicken and Radiatore. Both were recommended by Nick and both were amazing choices! My mom ate all the Farro with chicken in one sitting and even said I need to re-create this when I get home. Not a ton of parking however, they do have a small parking lot for about seven cars in front. The restaurant is on the second floor so you will need to take the stairs up, but they also have an ice cream shop on the lower floor.
